How I went from a disempowered, overworked, life-out-of-control small business owner to a woman on a mission to help other women heal, reclaim their power, and create wealth by building businesses and lives they love.

The Not-So-Glamorous About Page

My family, friends, and clients know that I aim for transparency, so while I really want to impress you, I’m going to keep this real.

I was already told this page is too long, but we’ll just go with it.

2016, I left my established, profitable real estate company to open my dream coaching practice.

While my real estate company was growing, I was miserable. I was doing what I learned but not what I loved nor what I now feel I am meant to do.

So, I mustered the courage and quit.

Until that point, I was like so many other women who put their dreams on the back burner—in my case, for decades.

My problem was that I also didn’t believe that dreams came true or that beautiful things could happen to me.

I worked 16+ hours a day — you know, chasing that dollar— without days off. My body was screaming at me through my jam-packed schedule, insomnia, and three bouts of pneumonia in just two years.

As a result, I cut myself off from joy, inspiration, passion, and creativity. And I didn’t suffer alone because I dragged my family through the entire ordeal.

This was the freedom I’d been looking for, and I couldn’t wait to tell everybody about it so they too could take charge of their lives and experience that relief, ease, joy, and big-ass love for themselves.

Ah sweet relief

Everything changed when I learned NLP.

It was like someone turned on the lights in my mind, and I could finally see how I was making such a mess of my life.

And then, when I learned how our bodies store negative emotions and how I could release them using advanced NLP techniques, everything just clicked into place.

In just two hours, I let go of ALL the anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, and shame tucked away in my nervous system. It was remarkable.

(The feeling of releasing negative emotions is hard to describe. It feels like a weight lifts off your body, literally. My clients feel it lifting off their shoulders, backs, and chests.)

By applying what I learned, I healed decades of pain and trauma.

In a few short months, I released negative emotions, eliminated my core limiting beliefs, stopped disempowering patterns and behaviors, and developed my self-worth—something I couldn’t accomplish in nine years of traditional therapy.

I couldn’t believe it. How could something so simple have such a profound effect? But the more I delved into the science behind it, the more sense it made.

I experienced relief for the first time in decades, then ease, then joy, then big-ass love… for everyone. The blinders finally came off.

This was the emotional freedom I’d been looking for, and I couldn’t wait to tell everybody about it so they, too, could take charge of their lives and experience that relief, ease, joy, and big-ass love for themselves.

Goodbye Brick and Mortar, Hello Online Gurus

Initially, I ran my coaching business like my real estate company: face-to-face, live, and in-person.

This worked for a while. The problem was that I had a big message to share, and sharing it one person at a time wasn’t practical or sustainable.

I was traveling so much to train and coach people across the country that I was missing out on rest and family time… again.

Then, in 2020, the global pandemic thrust me into the online business world.

I don’t mind telling you that I was absolutely clueless and a little arrogant.

I assumed my face-to-face business and sales skills were fully transferable to the online space. I was wrong.

To say that I was naive when I started is a huge understatement.

I was so out of touch with how business on the internet works that I thought if I launched a website, people would just come, like in Field of Dreams. Wrong.

It was more like the tree that falls in the forest when no one’s around to hear.

Nobody knew my website existed — except for my clients and my mom (thank you).

I wised up (as much as one can when they don’t know a thing) and bought ALL the courses, signed up for the programs, joined a mastermind group, hired a copywriter, and took branding photos because I was going ALL IN on this online business thing and was going to get it off the ground no matter what.

My mom calls me stubborn; I call it determination and drive, but I know she’s right.

I followed the blueprints, implemented the “secret” formulas, created every digital asset, and hired more people to help me. I wholeheartedly believed my success was guaranteed. Wrong again.

I felt cheated and let down by all the pros I grew to admire because it became evident to me that they weren’t sharing everything.

It was like buying a bunch of expensive jigsaw puzzles only to discover that every single one had missing pieces.

These gurus were sharing the formulas for their success, not necessarily a formula for mine.

After my first launch, I finally figured out the missing pieces were all mine—my knowledge, my style, my essence, and my why.

Learning from these pros was only part of the process. The rest was going to be up to me. I had to find my own success formula, starting with building a solid business foundation for my very own successful online business.

This was when I realized that there was no elevator, fairy dust, or shortcut to the success I wanted. I was starting over in a new market, and I’d better buckle up because there was a lot of work ahead of me.

The Accidental Online Business Mentor

I learned as much as I could about building a sustainable and scalable online business.

I learned about creating digital courses, funnels, evergreen systems, different launch styles, designing high-ticket programs and low-ticket offers, podcasting, blogging, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, and more.

As my coaching programs grew, I started sharing what I learned with my clients.

Don’t get me wrong. My focus is helping new and established female entrepreneurs with service-based businesses build the mental toolkit for 6 and 7-figure growth.

But, for aspiring entrepreneurs or those entering the digital landscape, comfortably showing up online as a content creator with the tools necessary to grow our business is a mindset breakthrough of its own.

More often than not, once I help my clients clean up their emotional blocks and gain confidence, they’re excited to create their own freebies, design their own offers, and launch their own online programs.

And so, I help them. I developed the resources for them to put the foundational pieces together, and they work on them as we work on their breakthrough.

The difference between how I learned to launch my online business and what we’re doing is that we start by designing a vision for their business that aligns with their values, passion, and personality, then build a solid foundation to support their business in growing with them

Ultimately, my work is about helping my clients crack the code for their successful business, not just following a cookie-cutter formula that may not work for them.

Business Growth as a Healing Opportunity

Out of the hundreds of business owners I’ve worked with, one thing is obvious: we all bring our perceived limitations into our business, and they directly impact our results.

What you think, what you believe, and the words you use affect the quality of your life and the success of your business.

Our confidence can quickly shrink to zero when spearheading the architecture of our entrepreneurial ecosystem.

It can be like walking around in the dark looking for a light switch in a room full of heavy, pointy furniture — tons of bumps and bruises along the way.

However, the opportunity for your growth healing is in this place as you find your way around.

This unfolds by starting right where you are and learning to remove the obstacles between you and the next step.

Then, you take what you learn and make progress until you find more obstacles. Again, you learn what you need to learn to get to the next step, but this time, you have more knowledge and wisdom because of what you learned from the beginning.

You continue the process of learning and use what you learn to get to the next step on your journey to success.

What usually happens, though, is that you’ve learned so much at some point that obstacles become opportunities for growth, and because you know how to learn, momentum takes over.

Before you know it, the 6-figure business you were after is alive and well, and now you set your eyes on breaking 7-figures or teaching others what you’ve learned, or both.

The process usually looks something like this:

  • We clean up your past, releasing negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and anything else that might be holding you back.
  • You develop a solid state-management practice to keep your mindset in check and maintain focus on your goals.
  • You identify what really drives you, what makes you come alive, and start aligning everything in your life with that purpose.
  • You become more aware of your thoughts, habits, and actions, making intentional choices that bring you closer to your desired outcome.
  • As you take aligned action, you develop the stamina for consistency, embrace discipline as a gateway to freedom, and ground yourself in emotional resilience.
  • Along the way, you gain confidence and clarity in your abilities, allowing you to take risks and expand into new opportunities.
  • You create a business vision that aligns with who you are, who you serve, and how you want to serve them.
  • You design a profitable offer that aligns with your purpose and values, allowing you to make a positive impact while also sustaining yourself financially.
  • You create a meaningful lead magnet that converts lookers to email subscribers.
  • You fine-tune your messaging to position yourself as the expert that you are to attract your ideal clients.
  • You develop a solid content strategy that connects with your audience and builds trust, authority, and credibility.
  • You welcome clients into your business and provide them with a high-quality experience that keeps them coming back.
  • You consistently track your progress, celebrate wins, and use setbacks as learning opportunities to continue growing and evolving as a business owner.
  • You continue to deliver value, invest in your growth and education, raise your prices, and the clients keep coming.

Finally, you feel good about your life, your business, and yourself.

The entire time, your business and what it demanded from you, helped you quiet your inner critic, relieved you of your need to please, squashed your impostor syndrome, got you over perfectionism and comparisonitis, put your ego on the back burner, and brought your meaning and purpose to the forefront.

You found your place in the world where you’re serving and prospering, working and resting, and living and loving your business and life.

This is what’s possible, and I can’t wait to show you how.
